Come off it, Michael, you know perfectly well that you were calling Blair a
liar by deliberately misspelling the name. No wonder Janice indulges in
name-calling and bullying. She has a perfect role model in you!

As to Wesley saying "F*** a good woman - it worked for my father", I find it
very hard to believe those were the exact words he said. Could you cite a
reliable source?

BTW in case you wonder why I'm having a go at you the reason is this. The
manner of your postings in various places devalues the excellence of the
serious work that you do. As it happens I'm trying to engage in gentlemanly
dialogue with a Baptist creationist minister at the moment and explain
patiently why YEC is invalid. I said I could show him some notes by a
conservative evangelical minister (yourself) that showed clearly the
grievous errors in Andy McIntosh's geology section of his book "Genesis for
today". However, said minister told me that you had sent him some
absolutely appalling emails after he had mentioned you on his blog site.
Furthermore he had got the impression from somewhere else (doubtless one of
your ironic bits of humour) that you didn't believe in the Resurrection, and
hence he doubted you were a Christian at all! I put him straight on that
one and showed him one of your ASA posts that clearly showed you were at one
with Tom Wright on the Resurrection. However your other behaviour towards
him meant that the opportunity to educate him with your excellent material
on McIntosh's geology was completely lost.

This doesn't just apply to you, Michael - every time someone on this list
writes something sarcastic, or ironic, saying the opposite of what they
mean, then it means that opportunities for reasoned dialogue are lost - I
could point to any number of well written and useful material for
creationists to consider, but I can't stop them googling the author's name
and finding unpleasantness and nastiness spouted about YEC's on this list
and have them say "Why should I listen to them"?
