[asa] Bullying Janice, and almost an apology

Dear Wayne and other ASA'ers -

It seems to have developed into an intramural sport here to bully Janice
because she brings a viewpoint that is unpopular on this List. Yes, bully.
Fortunately she has a thick skin and perseveres.

Wayne, you came pretty close to asking her for Christian forgiveness, for
your bullying. Thanks, that's a good step in the right direction. Others
may decide to follow your consceinscious lead.

I for one have found some of her contributions helpful.

I am Christian, so I realized, soon after writing that, that
much worse than writing it, is the fact that I have developed
that view of someone in that way. I might have avoided
writing it, but that would not brought me to see that in me.

I'm sorry, that does not contribute anything constructive
to view you that way, and long before seeing this response
from you, I had already made up my mind to stop thinking this.

I've certainly tried to understand different points
of view. If I don't agree with you, it is because I
hardly find your case persuasive enough to take
seriously. I don't need to follow any lockstep, I've
never been a lockstep myself: a southpaw, living the way
I do and doing the things I do. I never fit in anywhere very
well. That is exactly why I don't you.

by Grace we proceed,
Wayne
