Thank you to all for your answers. My guess is that microbial life a
probably common and may be found on Mars. Our Universe is a fertile
universe. But multicellular life is perhaps unique to Earth because our
planet is extremely fertile. Multicellular life requires stringently
narrow conditions that are available on earth. I guess that God have
made the earth a very fertile place, so that life may naturally evolve.

PS: For Michael: I'm not living in France. I live in Belgium but
"yahoo.be" doesn't exist. So I use "yahoo.fr" because pop3 are
available (which is not the case with "yahoo.com").
