On the science end, Wile has a number of odd errors, as far as I can
tell unrelated to the errors made in order to promote a young earth
view. I'm particularly suprised that a physicist would mess up
relativity (things can travel faster than the speed of light in a
medium), though rather unsurprised that his descriptive geology needs
work (metemorphic rocks left out).
It's also worth pointing out the ways in which the standard practice
of young-earth or antievolutionary views undermines the authority of
Scripture, by associating or replacing Scripture with bad science.
