  Indeed. And what kind of Christianity is this when you see fit to change "You cannot serve God and Money" (NIV) to "You cannot serve the Bible and evolution" (V. Jenkins version)?

  Why should you limit what is clearly a sound _general principle_ to the one example the Lord provides? And have you not considered that the Greek word - rendered 'mammon' in the AV - means more than simply 'money'. Indeed, from Strong's Lexicon we find this word (its reference number, 3126) means 'what is trusted in'...' where it is personified and opposed to God'.
