From the Wikipedia definition of "Pollyanna"

Through the success of the book, the term "pollyanna" entered the language
to describe someone who is cheerfully optimistic. It then became by
extension (and contrary to the spirit of the book) a somewhat derogatory
term for a naïve person who always expects people to act decently, despite
strong evidence to the contrary.

Is this what you meant, Dick?
How can you justify such an ad hominem attack?

During the time when I was deluded enough to think of myself as a
Creationist, it was this kind of nastiness that made me want to continue in
these wrong beliefs and ignore the evidence that was stacking up to the
contrary. Call me naive, but I came back on board by listening to what
people who acted decently had to say.
