Feel free to use my PSCF article, "Young-Earth Creationism: A Literal
Mistake" on my web site. I think it is important to show what can be
possible while taking away the impossibilites. The global flood is the
"Achilles Heel" of creationism. They need it to sequence the fossil record.
A local, historical flood in Mesopotamia does the YEC cause no good. So
just as the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, we should follow the
example and give them something they can hold on to while you remove their
binkies and tug at their security blankets.
