Dave,
    There used to be a large thriving local ASA section in the NYC Metro
area. It was a major influence in my life in the 80's. Jim Neidhart was the
spearhead. After he died and King's College disappeared, the group faded
away. It would be great to get smaller informal discussion groups going.
Offline I can send you a list of ASA members close to your area.
