You were abundantly clear. Like you, I am not sure whether RC theology would
agree with this but the difference would most likely be the cause of the
infused wisdom rather than the reality of it. Catholics please speak up
here. There is a parallel in Reformed theology concerning the noetic
influence of sin where regeneration imparts wisdom. The bottom line is Rich
F. is going against the entire Western Christian tradition. (I am not
familiar enough with Orthodoxy to know whether this includes them, also.) It
doesn't necessarily make him wrong but it does make it likely to be the
case.
