Well, we now have two evangelicals (last time I checked evangelical
theology is well within the line of the statement of faith of the ASA)
on record who believe otherwise. Orthodox Trinitarians can damage the
faith just as easily (and maybe more easily) than heretics.
Note the following quote of Bernard Goldberg on the O'Reilly Factor on
how this happens:
"I think Ann Coulter hurts her team. That's the difference. I don't
think I hurt conservatives when I write about liberals screwing up the
culture, but I think Ann hurts her team, because it gives liberals the
opening to say, 'You see, that's how they all are.'"
I believe Goldberg is right about hurting the "team" of conservatism.
The same can be said about giving unbelievers the opening "You see,
that's how they [Christians] all are."
