I know, some don't have good connections, I didn't have a great connection in China and it took a long time. From some of the places I was on occasion, I wish I had had a 128 baud modem rather than the speed I was downloading things. But one simply can't have a debate on 2 posts per day. It is really hard with 4 per day. And if one packs those two (or 4) posts with lots of info, and make them long, you are still going to have to download the same amount of kilobytes.
Look, today I asked David Siemans to explain his reasoning. That was a very short post, but would have counted as one of my 2 per day and it didn't really say anything. And lately I have had several people throughout the day send questions to me. On occasion, it would mean not being able to answer people for days, under that 2 post rule. As it is, I have not answered people that I wanted to answer, or I have waited until the next day. Those things are not conducive to good debate. what does one do when one has 7 people ask you questions, in different threads, when you have already sent out your allotment?

Yes, but humbly I point out that some of us don't have cheap and ready
access to the internet. Downloading emails I can do but to sit online
and read through a web site....my internet connection is so unreliable
and expensive I would never even bother., I realize it is a bit unfair
to expect a list to be maintained by email just for a few exceptions but
It would be nice to consider it from that angle. Maybe I am touchy but
it does irritate me a bit when I see comments like "email is soooo 90's"
as if we all live in a country with equal access and opportunities. My
3rd world ISP is abominable. 38.6 k dial up (when it dials up)
connection and it costs 10 dollars ab hour....
