I cant believe you said that!
First of all, why is it the woman's responsibility to say
"no"? There was a young man that was involved in this
too. I am not saying that the responsibility for teaching
and training sexual morality doesnt begin at home, it
does, but this is clearly a sexist, in the worst kind of
way, attitude.
Second, I think Louise's point, not that I want to speak
for her, is that too often the Christian community
abandons single mothers, whether or not they are young
women living at home that get pregnant, or divorced women
with children. Frankly it is often this attitude that I
find distasteful and un-Christlike. These women, and
their children need our support and our acceptance.
