Now I understand that original thought may be seen by many as threatening but let's look at these simple isues: It is the captalistic nature of the 'Santa Claus' culture, which is based on posession which has displaced the religious nature of the Christmas holidays.
Any time you are interested in discussing the issues I raised, I will be more than happy to engage with you in such a discussion. So far, you have contributed much of nothing.
God a socialist. What a concept. I love it. Seems my grandfather was right after all when he commented that in his opinion Jesus was the world's first socialist.

The more I think about it the more I come to realize that Jesus was quite a socialist in his days.And note how God in Leviticus seems to support the redistribution of wealth
