Re: "The Goal of ID is to establish a theocratic state"

The book Joel asks about that (sort of) makes this claim is, as George speculated, almost certainly:
"Creationism's Trojan Horse" by Forrest and Gross

One of the things I noted in the review was how the silly claims about "theocracy" marred a book that was in some other ways enlightening.
 
As an aside, that review induced the only piece of "hate mail" I have ever received by post (I have gotten some unpleasant emails) -- it was postmarked in Kansas and came from some ID sympathizer who chose not to sign his or her name.
