Do tell please, what attitudes are you 'exporting to the world' (rationalism, scientism, positivism)? Did you mean that you are exporting a 'survival of the fittest' or 'struggle for life' attitude to 'the world'?
 
GRM: I missed that comment when I read the original note. I don't feel a bit guilty about the lifestyle we live. I have now seen, and see daily the lifestyle that is being advocated by the anti-western-lifestyle people. If we are going to force people to live in certain ways, force them not to buy certain cars, then I think the critics of our life style should be forced to live the rural chinese lifestyle. The use of petroleum is quite low (course, they burn lots of coal) and there are lots of bicycles and lots of bicycle paths. Those people would change their minds quite rapidly about how others should live their lives.
