I agree with this. If people will let the market raise the price of petrol, people will make intelligent choices to change their life style in the way they see fit. If someone wants to spend more on transporation than another person, fine, that is their free choice. Most, in the face of rising petrol prices, are doing what most would expect, look at the Pickup truck and SUV sales lately.
