Unfortunately, you're correct. My comments to Dick should be classified as a
rant, somewhat along the lines of my eighth grade english teacher who
complained about how the younger generation misused English. But still it's a
shame that a group can come along and preempt a word or phrase for its own
purposes. I have no suggestions what to do about it, but rant I will!
