I am not really advocating one position over another. I
am leaning towards monism/annihalationism for now, but I
am not at all sure about it.
But, there is some debate and leeway in interpreting
scriptures about what it says about what happens to
non-belivers after death. Traditionally it is eternal
damnation. Dualism is also traditional. But both are
questionable, and it is not very clear in my opinion about
what the scripture says on these matters.
I just cant reconcile monism with eternal damnation. You
made the statement that sinners will be punished. No one
is disputing that. But annihalation is punishment. Is it
clear in scripture that this punishment has to be eternal?
