Glenn, you appear not to understand what the numero-geometrical features of
Genesis 1:1 mean for the future of both MN and ID. In the absence of a
reasonable naturalistic explanation the implication must be that they have
been brought into being by a supernatural - even divine - hand. So how are
you now able to guarantee that the situtions you witness as a geologist have
not been orchestrated by supernatural forces intent on destroying biblical
authority and gospel truth? (We have only to consider the case of Job to
imagine what such a scenario might be!). I fully realise that this is an
unpalatable thought for many on this list. But the time has surely come when
rational Christians must take such possibilities seriously. Failing that,
then Harun Yahya and myself might reasonably claim that our 'spell' theory
had been vindicated.
