Christian seminaries need to give attention to the area of science &
theology (more broadly, science-technology-theology-ethics) in the training
of pastors & other church leaders. 2 of the ELCA sems - Chicago &
Berkeley - are associated with such centers (Zygon & CTNS) & the others
offer science-theology courses. (I teach the one at Trinity.) So the fact
that the Baptist Seminary at Louisville has such a center could in itself be
considered good. Whether the way SCTS's center's will deal with such
matters will be good & whether Dembski's a good person to lead it are other
questions. (To which the answers IMO are No and No.)
