I think we could decide that at least Genesis 2-11 could be historical based upon data and evidence - the stuff of science. Genesis 1 is more pre-historical, but not out of the bounds of reason.

Read these and then tell my why you (any of you) thinks that early Genesis can't have genuine historical integrity. Of course, it isn't human history, it is the history passed down to the children of Israel to tell THEM where THEY came from. The entire setting is southern Mesopotamia from about 7000 BC to 4000 BC, the land of the Tigris and Euphrates which should not surprise anyone since that's what it says in Genesis. What do I have to do, stand on my head and ...?
