I'm going to pose a question that may seem polemical but my purpose is
simply to get clear what your views on the matter are. I may not pose it in
a way that's sufficiently nuanced for you, so feel free to restate it if you
think that would help.
What status do you accord the Nag Hammadi texts, as far as their authority
for Christians is concerned, relative to the canonical books of the NT?
