I suspect the young earthers (some of them anyway)
would ask what the constancy of the rate of decay (especially if the putative variations occurred in the past) would have to do with the use of radiation in nuclear medicine.
 
I agree with Dave Siemans: young-earthers are a very tenacious breed, and will hold onto their explanations in spite of contradictions.
