We have been over this ground months ago. We are not informed that the
hydrological cycle was completely different from that which operates
today. Genesis 2:5 shows that drought (i.e. no rainfall) meant that plants
couldn't grow, and the Garden could not yet exist. That is the way things
work today. Then in 2:6 God corrects the problem by causing it to rain.
(Compare Job 36:27 for the only other occurrence of the word translated
mist.)
Christians got along very well for many centuries without flood geology.
