Bob makes an excellent point. On Theologyweb.com, which is run by YECers,
people get challenged on their personal faith journey all the time. One
fellow, Joe, stoutly asserted he was a believer in the Nicene Creed. Two
others attacked him saying his posts did not reflect that. Joe sometimes
wrote with irony, and so was sometimes misunderstood.

I tried to stay clear of that, but was asked the direct question as
follows:
"Do you believe that Jesus was God in the flesh?"

I replied that I, indeed, thought that Jesus was "God in the flesh."

The next post challenged me for the use of quotation marks and asked if
I'd say the same thing w/o them!

Yes -- the group is a somewhat hostile place. I suppose the YECers see
this group likewise.

On testimonies -- mine is on my website for the world to see. I am not
ashamed of it. I do not ask others to do likewise.
