For those interested, there is a critical review of "In the Blink of an
Eye" by Andrew Parker in the July-August issue of American Scientist.
The review is by Simon Conway Morris. Morris is highly skeptical of
Parkers arguments and concludes "... although nobody should doubt that
the utilization and perception of light are significant factors, to
imagine that they are of overwhelming importance is highly
questionable."
