The story of sodom includes a non-ritualistic opportunistic attempt by all
the men of sodom at active homosexuality with strangers. "Bring them out, they
shouted, so that we can have intercourse with them." Genesis 19:5
The Catholic Church is torn apart by scholars who are either liberal or
traditional. That is the crux of today's crisis. Alluding to the presence of a
liberal position among scholars does not justify it nor does it constitute an
argument. Let the truth be discerned from Scripture rather than the political
landscape.
