    The existence of multiple Glenn's depends on whether
    you are talking about a multiverse in the sense of the
    beginning of the universes, or a quantumly-branching
    parallel universes, doesn't it? In the latter there
    will necessarily be multiple Glenns but in the former
    there would not necessarily be multiple Glenns. For
    those who know more than I about such things, would
    that be an accurate statement?

    Regardless, I think that there are not necessarily all
    those different kinds of Glenns because the things
    that would make the Glenns different (unless Penrose
    is right about how the "mind" arises) are not quantum
    events... So, contrary to the Star Trek universe,
    there are not necessarily parallel evil uses even if
    the universe does branch at quantum events. ;)

    I am sure others can provide a far more erudite
    response and correct my understanding to the extent
    that it is incorrect.
