It also points out another, underlying epistemological
fault. Without a guarantor of objective reality and
our ability to perceive it (at least partially), there
really is no firm basis for making statements about
truth. Theists have this guarantor that allows them
to make statements about truth, atheists do not.
It is interesting that in the postmodern assault on
objectivism that atheists who are logical positivists
and empiricists decry the lunacy of postmodernism, but
fail to see that they have no clothes, so to speak, in
this regard either, in that they have no claim to an
objective truth.
