May I add to Terry's good advice the following: please avoid sending
multiple replies to persons on the list. If your message is going to the
list, put the asa address in the "To" box and eliminate the rest. It just
takes a second to do so, and helps our mouses last longer, as we don't have
to click Delete so often. Often I receive two copies of the same message,
one to me personally and one to me through the list. We don't need both.
It would also be good if writers focused on the issues and avoided
personalizing and judgmental language. It is possible to express
disagreement over, say, the interpretation of biblical texts without
implying, insinuating, or characterizing the other as being against the
Bible, etc.
Thanks to all,
Bob Schneider
