    Hi,

As some of you may have noticed because the post times have
remarkably been reduced, no one is moderating the list at present. I
am on a vacation and decided not to burden myself with this and cause
unnecessary delay to everyone's desire to "chat".

I would like to encourage to keep the conversations civil, to avoid
"chatty one-liners", to combine posts on related threads (rather than
merely hit "reply to"), and to have a maximum of FOUR posts per day
    from any one individual.

I would also remind everyone that the best way to silence someone
that you think is making useless posts is to ignore them. Hopefully,
such a person would recognize that "the list" is not interested in
what he or she is interested in and stop talking about the subject.
If an extended conversation between two people continues much longer
than the group as a whole appears to be interested, members of the
group are welcome to suggest that the thread be taken off-line. I
also remind us all that we have a delete key that can be used in the
event of posts that don't interest us.

Keeping subject lines relevant to the post is use for this
identification. Please don't make the subject line the first sentence
of your post, but rather make it a good summary of the substance of
    your post.

    TG
