I continue to find more day-age resources on the internet. Just do
searches for things like "flood Bible."

A constant, screaming theme comes across. YEC is purely based on
ignorance (or, in a sickening way counting on people's ignorance).
Both Biblical and scientific. I'd estimate 75% Biblical and 25%
    scientific.

I suppose that, on this list, I need to throw up a quick defense of
my day-age beliefs. On this list, some (many, most?) feel they are
ignorant. Just remember, I don't want to deny any historical Near East
culture. I just don't want to

    A) Ignore the historical value of the Bible itself
    B) Ignore that Jesus Christ came right out of OT history
    C) Ignore God's omnipotence (which means that He is in control of the
biblical material that we have today). If it is historically
defective, this reflects upon the God who created the heavens and
the earth. Of course, God doesn't want to "force" people to
believe. He'll give us enough evidence to believe if we want to.
Others will go their own way. That's enough for now.
