I have a page of cartoons which relating to evolution which I
give to my theology-science class when we're discussing the topic. One
is a Far Side cartoon which illustrates beautifully the popular
perception of natural selection. A typical dorky Far Side little kid
and his father looking over their fence to the house next door which is
being entered by several large grinning wolves. The father is saying,
"I know you miss the Wainwrights, Bobby, but they were weak and stupip
people - and that's why we have wolves and other large predators."
