I am not sure whether it can be classed as deceit or whether they are just
extreme examples of cognative dissonance, but I have a number of documented
examples were YEC geologists, in particular Steve Austin, Andrew Snelling, and
Tas Walker, have said one thing in their scientific publications and something
completely different in their YEC publications.
With respect to taking quotes out of context, try any standard YEC book that has
references: Whitcomb and Morris "The Genesis Flood", John Morris "The Young
Earth", Roth "Origins". I have gone through all or some of these books and
mis-citation seems the norm, not the exception. I am supply specific examples
if needed.
