I'm going to defend ICR on this one. First, they are non-profit. Second,
their fund raising policies are, as far as I can see, very low key,
courteous and civil. Third, while they do sell books, the book profits go
back into the organization, not to the individual authors. Talking with
Duane Gish on this about a year ago, it does not appear any "money
making" scheme is in effect.
