Could it be possible to scientifically ascertain the existence of angels.
Perhaps, if you have a idea what to look for. But is angels are consider by
the sciences to be mythical, they would not attempt to look anyway.

In this discussion, an alien is an intelligent being who's origin was not
planet earth. Try sticking to the topic.
Thus God (having no origin) and angels (pre-existing the Creation week of
planet earth) would be classified as alien. Jesus was indeed fully human
and fully God. He preexisted His incarnation. Because of that, the "Word"
was alien also.
