I received an interesting set of two notes recently following my post to
Teena.
With the sender's permission, here is an exerpt from one of these.

Dear Mr. Burgeson;

I read with dismay your reply to Teena, posted last Friday to the
Creation/Evolution discussion group. Although you represented the
prevailing scientific opinion accurately you did not adequately allow
for the possibility that it might be in error--which in fact it is.
However, I am pleased to inform you that this grievous mistake is soon
to be corrected, and you can be among the first to learn the details.
My firm is due to publish in June a book entitled "New Insights to
Antiquity" by Richard Petersen which explains just where Science
went astray in its deductions about earth's early history. I will send
you a copy of this work free of charge and without obligation if you
will but furnish me with your mailing address. I have no doubt that
this new evidence will entirely change you views about these matters
and restore your full confidence in the Book of Genesis.
------------
I wrote this gentleman and accepted his offer. Reporrt later (subsequent
e-mail indicates late June for delivery).

Burgy
