Scott Rauch's recent post served as a reminder for myself. I too
read, "About the evolution@calvin . . . "

Here's my response. I am a naturalist instructor for the Saint Louis
Zoo. I understood, accepted the basic concepts of evolution as I
understood, accepted other basic scientific concepts taught in
college. It wasn't until I was exposed to a myriad of animal life that
I realized the full effects of what the textbooks and professors had
imparted. To a certain extent, I feel the excitement, wonder and
awe of nature as I understand Darwin experienced.

I have been "lurking around" web sites both for and against
evolution. This is the second list I have subscribed to. By far this
has been the most helpful and courteous of all that I have
experienced. Mr. Rauch, you are in the right place.
