No matter. You've still been fleeced. By Scripture. The verse refers not to
"things," but to people. The people connected to Tubal-cain. The people who
knew no technological dark age.

The word you have as "things" is "choresh," a personal noun, translated
"artificer" or "fabricator."

And that's why "hammerer" is not a correct translation for the word
preceding. If you re-check your Strong's for the word, you'll find the word
"instructer" [sic] right there, where it should be.

Well, this is your third attempt to torque the verse into saying something
it doesn't. Why do you suppose that is?
