What is the made up fact ? The claim of the existance of an objective
moral standard ? Since it remains unproven that a deity exists, there is
even less reason to believe that this deity promotes a standard of
morality which is eternal, universal and objective.
For all we know each planet with life has its own 'deity' ? Puts a damper
on the idea of a universal deity. For all we know deities do not posess
objective standards of morality. For all we know deities might change
their minds about morality.
made up "facts" ? Not more made up that the idea that there exists a deity
and that this deity provides us with an objective standard of morality I
would say.
