Evolutionary Theory and the recent genetic evidence shows that all
people are almost genetically identically. In fact, there is NO
BIOLOGICAL THEORY OF RACE!!!!!!
Races are human constructs---nature does not allow for races. There are
cultural races and ethnic groups, but not biological ones.
People pointed to some people who were racists and evolutionary
biologists---but they were really products of their societies. I would
hate to print a list of Priest, Popes, and Ministers, and Saints who
were all very racist.
Concluding that Evolution lead to the holocaust might be partially
true...but Hitler did not really use or quote Darwin, an English man, to
support his ideas. Instead of relying on science, he created a
pseudo-science based on the German philosophers like Nietzsche who wrote
about the SUPERMAN in the 19th century.
But concluding something is not true because of horrible consequences is
silly. That would be like not believing in the Noble Prize because
Noble's life was dedicated to selling and creating new explosives.
Or choosing to not believe in the modern theories of physics because of
the holocaust caused by splitting the atom over Japan!
The mounting evidence for evolution is strong than ever, don't ignore
the truth.
Science is knowledge....and humans can twist and distort knowledge for
evil purposes!
