Once again your use of the term "transitional" varies. Again, Walter has a
point. You don't agree with it, which makes it all the more conclusive. ;-)

Of course. It was invented to make the concept of evolution so flexible that
anything could fit, because the predictions of classical theory weren't coming
true. It was thought up so we could say individual organs can have independent
developmental histories. Great stuff, this evolutionary theory.
