Yes, I gathered from reading John Calvin's Commentary on Genesis that
he was a YEC.

Also, is it significant that "The Genesis Flood" was published by The
Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company (as well as numerous
other books such as E.J. Young's "Studies in Genesis 1" which
favoured the YEC position)? In the UK, the Banner of Truth Trust
(strongly Reformed) has distanced itself from TE/EC views - with E.J.
Young's study of Genesis 3 and a book entitled "The Great Divide"
(which I regard as awful, contributing much confusion and very little
light to the debate). Another Reformed UK publishing company is
Evangelical Press, who have several titles presenting YEC views.

Maybe theological perspectives are relevant to this debate - but at
present, I can't really see a pattern.
