A better philosopher than all of us is Dr. Dallas Willard, USC, a great
teacher and strong Christian. He told me that questions about ultimate truth,
e.g. What is Good?, are not even entertained seriously in the academy anymore.
The "way of knowing" is limited to the empirical.

That's really the point I was making. "Truth" today is thought of in
exclusively Natural terms. Everything else is relative, or opinion, or
superstition. And while science is certainly necessary in any full search for
truth, it is woefully inadequate by itself.
