I concede that Stephen Jones is correct: He did say TE's were "being
basically negative to Phil Johnson," and did not assert, as I said, "to
Phil Johnson's view that philosophical naturalism is wrong."

I did and still do believe this is a reasonable inference based on what
Phil has said: "Ironically, while my critique of Darwinism and scientific
naturalism has gained a hearing in secular academic debates, it has met
with surprising resistance from theistic evolutionists in the Christian
academic world."

Also, I continue to believe that some TE's are smarting under the
impression that Phil Johnson too closely identifies their TE position with
an atheistic position on naturalism. Despite this, I don't believe (as
Stephen's statement above suggests - to me at least), that TE's harbor
some sort of personal hostility toward Phil Johnson.

Stephen, you are, of course, welcome to respond to this posting, but I
doubt I will have anything more to say on this matter.
