    Actually, we are in agreement on the basic point. Seeking to give
    offense is wrong, giving offense through faithfulness to the Gospel
    should be normal experience. I Peter 2:19-20 has an appropriate
    admonition along this line. This principle also relates back to the
    issue of good work being a better witness than ostentatiously
    "Christian" components to the work.
