    I think this is a good track, your language reminds me of one of my favorite books on this subject: Richard Bube's "Putting It all Together: Seven Patterns for Relating Science and the Christian Faith." Sounds like it would be a great book to read to further flesh out this realization you are coming to. I wrote a review of it at:
