    It depends on how you interpret the Scriptures, but then that's pretty much the crux of the biscuit always, isn't it. If you think that God's creation is finite, then you may have some problems, ie. your question. If you view God's creation as infinite, then you might come to understand the 7 days as a metaphor for eternity. It depends on your basis for scriptural interpretation. decisions, decisions...
