transition. My belated reply...
the joining of dinosaurs and birds is a detective story almost 140 years
old, and the feathered dinosaurs a triumph of persistent scientific
intuition. Also the first theropod dinosaur tracks found in the 1830s were
thought to be those of giant birds - an almost true suspicion...
