URGENT

The King's University College has a tenure track VACANCY in the
Biology Department.

The College is looking for a person (Ph.D. required, or near
completion) to teach courses in Vertebrate Physiology, Molecular Cell
Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Introductory Biology, and
Genetics. Supervision of senior research projects is also required.

The succesful candidate will join a department in which biology is
taught from a historical and theoretical perspective that emphasizes
foundational and ethical commitments and that challenges student to
develop a stewardship perspective. An interest in the relationship
between biology and other academic disciplines is an asset.

The starting date for this position is July 1, 1999, but other dates
can be negotiated.

The King's University College, located in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)
is a Christian liberal arts university college, offering accredited
three- and four-year B.A. and B.Sc. degrees.
